Guy Remonko - drums

A native of Pennsylvania, Guy Remonko played his first professional gig at age 14. He currently teaches at Denison University and is a semi-retired Professor of Music at Ohio University. In addition to performing with the Lenox Avenue Express, he is also active as a clinician and free-lance jazz drummer/percussionist presenting clinics and performing at jazz major clubs and festivals throughout the country. As a drumset artist Remonko has performanced with the Rochester Philharmonic, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Perrl Bailey, Dave Samuels, Bob Thompson, and Gene Burtoncini. He also serves as an artist/clinician for Yamaha Drums and the Avedis Zildjian Cymbal Company.
